Hurricane Helene Impacts
- At least 194 people have died across six states from Hurricane Helene and its impacts.
- As of Thursday morning, more than 720,000 customers in Helene’s path were still without power, including more than 377,000 customers in South Carolina and more than 300,000 customers in North Carolina.
- In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, complaints of price gouging on gas, groceries, and hotel rates had increased in affected southeastern states.

Hurricane Kirk
