Hurricane Ernesto
- As of Thursday morning, Hurricane Ernesto was located 605 miles south, southwest of Bermuda, moving at a rate of about 13 mph, with maximum sustained winds at 85 mph.
- The National Hurricane Center and Bermuda Weather Service issued a hurricane warning for Bermuda.
- The National Hurricane Center advisory said Ernesto is forecast to strengthen and could become a major hurricane by Friday.
- When it passes near or over Bermuda, the storm will bring dangerous coastal conditions and between four to eight inches of rain, with locally higher amounts of up to 12 inches possible.
