Gas Prices Rise Again in Every Single State Thanks to Trump’s War of Choice

The price of oil reached a four-year high this week, surging above $120 per barrel

A key inflation measure jumped to the highest level in three years, triggering broader inflation concerns as Americans continue to reel from a Trump-created affordability crisis

Washington, DC – Gas prices have skyrocketed over the past week as Donald Trump’s war of choice continues to shut off access to the world’s oil supply through the Strait of Hormuz. Every single state in the country saw gas prices increase in the last week, with Michigan and Ohio—two states facing competitive midterm races this November—seeing some of the highest jumps in the country, each above $4.50.

Despite the Trump administration’s desperate attempts to prove otherwise, the Strait does not seem any closer to opening, and even if it does, experts say it will take months for prices to return to their pre-war levels. In the meantime, Trump’s Big Oil donors are raking in massive profits as Americans pay billions more at the pump.
