NEW: Bill Nye Video Encourages People to “Do Something” and Vote for Climate Action
tags
Washington, D.C. — Today, Bill Nye released a video highlighting the stakes of the election and two contrasting visions for the future of climate and clean energy in partnership with Climate Power’s “Too Hot Not to Vote” campaign to register and mobilize voters. In the video, Bill Nye Climate Guy reminds voters that the world is on “f***ing fire” and encourages them to “do something” – vote for candidates who will take climate action.
Climate is a pressing issue in this election. 7-in-10 likely voters say climate change is important to their choice in the presidential election. Kamala Harris has a proven climate record of casting the tie-breaking vote to triple clean energy production, creating more than 330,000 good-paying clean energy jobs, fighting for the freedom to breathe clean air and drink clean water, and taking on corporate polluters. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda would increase costs on working families, gut clean energy investments and jobs, and pollute our air, water, and planet—all to benefit his Big Oil donors.

Greetings, everyone, Bill Nye, Climate Guy here.
You may remember me from your days in school teaching you things about photosynthesis and so on.
You may also remember my mentioning the world is on f***ing fire! The world’s on f***ing fire.
When we found ways to harness the heat of burning coal, gasoline, and jet fuel, we didn’t mean to pump enough carbon compounds into the atmosphere to change the climate of a whole planet.
But we have.
Time to do something.
Vote.
Vote for the party that has started to make the changes that need to be made.
The other side won’t even admit that climate change is happening.
They’re taking bribes from Big Oil to write their agenda.
So vote for a better, cooler world.
