- Since the clean energy plan’s passage, 62 new clean energy projects have been announced or moved forward in Michigan, the most across any state in the nation. Across the state, new clean energy projects have already spurred $26.6 billion in investment, the second-highest in the nation, and created or moved forward 21,748 good-paying clean energy jobs, the fourth-most in the country.
- The majority of voters in Michigan and the blue wall states—94% of Democrats, 71% of Independents, and even 52% of Republicans— say it is important for the US to increase its use of clean and renewable energy sources.
- 1-in-2 young voters (18-34), 66% of young women, and 63% of Black women in Michigan say that climate and clean energy issues are very important to their presidential vote this year.
- VP Harris leads Trump by +21pp in Michigan and other blue wall states on the issue of expanding clean energy (Harris 51% v Trump 30%) and by +24pp on the issue of climate change (Harris 51% v Trump 27%).
