ENERGY SECRETARY GRANHOLM TO VISIT OHIO TOUTING BIDEN ADMINISTRATION’S CLEAN ENERGY PLAN

Columbus, Ohio – Today, Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm will visit Ohio as part of the Invest in America Tour, highlighting how the Administration’s agenda is driving manufacturing and clean energy growth, rebuilding America’s infrastructure, and creating over 142,000 good-paying jobs and counting for everyday Americans. 

Thanks to President Biden’s clean energy plan, Ohio has benefited immensely from the clean energy job growth it has spurred. Since the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, nearly $7.76 billion of investments in clean energy have been announced in the state, creating more than 5,000 jobs

Granholm’s visit to the Buckeye State comes after her travel across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee in an electric vehicle, highlighting private and public sector investments in batteries, electric vehicle chargers and supply chains.
