FACT CHECK: Thanks to Senator Bob Casey, America is Producing More Energy Than Any Time in History

HARRISBURG, PA – Sen. Bob Casey helped pass the clean energy plan, which has already delivered $18 billion in funding to Pennsylvania to spur the state’s clean energy economy and create good-paying jobs. Meanwhile, Dave McCormick has committed to leading the Republican effort to halt clean energy tax credits and called for rolling back the clean energy plan, which has already spurred $1.09 billion in private investment for new clean energy projects, creating 2,881 new clean energy jobs in the Keystone State. 

• FACT: Bob Casey voted to triple American clean energy production, including unprecedented investments in affordable clean energy options.
• FACT: Bob Casey’s vote for the historic clean energy plan is projected to lower electricity bills and gas prices by up to 9% and 13%, respectively.
• FACT: Clean energy industries employ more than 8 times more PA workers than the state’s gas industry.
• FACT: Trump’s Project 2025 agenda would cost Pennsylvania 55,500 jobs in 2035 and raise household’s energy bills by $390 a year.
