NEW: Climate Power Releases New Ad Campaign Ahead of Presidential Debate

New Ads Highlights How President Biden’s Clean Energy Plan is Shoring Up Made in America Clean Energy Manufacturing, Contrasting with Big Oil’s Pro-Polluter Agenda

Washington, D.C. — Today, Climate Power is launching a new national TV ad campaign in English and Spanish ahead of the first presidential debate. The new TV ads, “Red, White, and Blue,” and “Rojo, Blanco, y Azul,” highlight how President Biden’s clean energy plan is creating good-paying jobs and building lower-cost clean energy supply chains right here in America. The ads remind viewers that Big Oil wants to repeal President Biden’s climate and clean energy progress.

The new spots will continue to air on national TV before, during, and after the debate on MSNBC, CNN, and CNN en Español this week.

These ads are part of a larger 8-figure education campaign running in AZ, GA, MI, NC, NV, PA, and WI, highlighting the impacts of President Biden’s clean energy plan for working families across the country.

“President Biden has done more on climate and clean energy than any other president in U.S. history, creating good-paying jobs here in the U.S. and holding Big Oil accountable for its pro-polluter agenda,” said Alex Glass, Climate Power’s Managing Director of Communications. “Big Oil is deadset on killing the over 300,000 jobs the clean energy plan has created so they can profiteer and pollute on the backs of working families. Our economy,  planet, and our climate progress is at stake.”

Since taking office, President Biden has taken more than 300 climate actions, shoring up America’s clean energy manufacturing while holding Big Oil accountable for its rampant profiteering. According to a new analysis from Climate Power, over 300,000 clean energy jobs have been announced since the passage of President Biden’s clean energy plan.
