NEW STUDY:  Trump’s Project 2025 Will Raise Costs for Americans, Lay Them Off, Get Them Sick, and Hurt The Economy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A new study from the nonpartisan group Energy Innovation finds that Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda would have measurable, negative impacts on middle-class families: higher bills, job losses, and more illnesses. Big Oil paid their lobbyists to write Project 2025 as a policy agenda for a second Trump term, and now we know exactly why – they’re planning to make Americans pay the cost for their vast profits.

“Donald Trump’s Project 2025 was written by and for Big Oil,” said Climate Power communications director Alex Glass. “This study paints a clear, dystopian picture of what working families would face under a second Trump term: job losses, higher electric bills, and sicker families. Big Oil, on the other hand, will see padded profits, $110 billion in tax breaks, and more on their wishlist. Donald Trump is looking out for himself and his campaign donors. His dangerous plan for his day one dictatorship will increase energy costs for American households, lay Americans off, get them sick, and damage the economy.”
