ROUND UP: As Energy Companies Rake in Profits, American Families Continue to Pay the Price With More Rate Hikes

Washington, DC – Energy companies have been announcing massive Q2 profits in recent weeks, raking in billions of dollars as American families face rate hikes as high as $28 per month. An analysis from Climate Power and the Center for American Progress Action Fund found that Trump policies have cost the average American family at least $2,000, including $213 in skyrocketing energy costs.

Now, Americans are choosing between filling up their tanks and keeping the lights on thanks to Trump and congressional Republicans’ reckless energy policies.
