Trump Isn’t in Any Rush to End His War of Choice as Prices at the Pump Continue to Break Records

Washington, DC – In the latest sign that Trump remains completely indifferent to skyrocketing gas prices despite his abysmal approval ratings, he claimed that Americans “understand” that prices will come down once the war that he started is over. The problem for Trump is that he keeps extending the timeline for his deeply unpopular war of choice. 

Instead of at least pretending like he cares about lowering costs, he’s putting words in the American people’s mouths to convince the rest of the world that they’re on board with his disastrous agenda. Unfortunately for him, his party’s plummeting approval ratings — and the congressional Republicans who are turning their backs on him – tell a very different story.
