With Congress Reaching Framework Deal, Leading Climate Experts to Lead a Briefing on How the Agreement’s Investments Meet the Climate Test

The just released framework includes investments to cut pollution in half by 2030 while creating jobs, reducing costs for families, and centering justice as the nation builds the next generation of energy

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the release of the framework agreement for the Build Back Better Act, leaders from the climate movement will gather to detail how its investments in climate will help communities across the country. Experts will discuss the ways the framework is a win that will start drastically reducing emissions and put our clean energy economy into hyperdrive.

An overwhelming majority of Americans support climate action, and the Build Back Better Act is our moment to build an equitable, clean energy future. Recent analysis shows that clean energy tax credits that span 10-years, among other actions at the state and federal level can put us on the path to still meet President Biden’s goals to equitably cut climate pollution in half by 2030.
