Climate Power Ads in Pennsylvania Highlight Clean Energy Opportunity Economy

Washington, D.C. — Climate Power is running two ads spotlighting Turtle Creek, a community in Pennsylvania reinvigorated by the clean energy economy.
The ads feature Turtle Creek, PA Mayor Adam Forgie, and an employee at Eos, a clean energy battery storage company in Turtle Creek. Turtle Creek, a community in Pennsylvania gutted by the departure of Westinghouse Electric, has found new life and new jobs in the arrival of a clean energy battery storage company. The ads are running in Pennsylvania as part of a $3.1M educational campaign.
“The Biden-Harris clean energy boom has revitalized communities across the country in big cities and small towns like Turtle Creek with good-paying, clean energy jobs,” said Climate Power Executive Director Lori Lodes. “The Biden-Harris manufacturing boom is just getting started.
