So Funny: New TV Ad Highlights Trump’s Laughable Promise to Bring Down Costs 

Washington, D.C. – On the heels of Trump signing his Republican Rate Hike into law and greenlighting a new round of reckless tariffs – Climate Power launched a new six-figure TV ad buy highlighting how, once again, Donald Trump is failing to keep his promises to Americans by hiking up their costs to give tax breaks to billionaires. 

The new ad – “So Funny” – is a twist on Hubert Humphrey’s storied “Laughter” ad that mocked Richard Nixon’s selection of Spiro Agnew as his running mate; this time, it’s Trump’s vow to end inflation that has, unfortunately for working families, been rendered a punchline by his cost-hiking agenda.

The new spot is running nationally and in Washington, D.C., with a heavy emphasis on Fox News.
