Today, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland will promote federal funding for wildlife refuges and outdoor recreation projects, as a result of President Biden’s clean energy plan. Secretary Haaland will be welcomed by Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT), who has worked closely with the Administration to bring green initiatives to Vermonters.

EPA ADMINISTRATOR REGAN JOINS VERMONT SENATORS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO ANNOUNCE SOLAR FOR ALL INITIATIVE

Today, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael Regan, Senator Bernie Sanders (VT-D), Senator Peter Welch (VT-D), and Representative Becca Balint (VT-D) will hold an event to announce the EPA’s new Solar for All program. The initiative seeks to lower energy costs and grow Vermont’s clean energy economy by making residential rooftop solar installations affordable for families, particularly in rural regions. The program was created thanks to President Biden’s clean energy plan.
