100 Days Out: Harris Has Momentum While Donald Trump’s Unpopular Project 2025 is Tanking with Voters

Washington, DC — With just over 100 days until election day, Vice President Kamala Harris has momentum on her side – raising hundreds of millions in just a few days and mobilizing hundreds of thousands of voters. Vice President Harris is ready to prosecute the case against Big Oil and Donald Trump. Trump, on the other hand, is unraveling, refusing to take the debate stage, and even doubled down on his support of the extreme, dangerous Project 2025 plan.
“We’re just 100 days out from the election, and here’s what we know to be true: Vice President Kamala Harris has a record of holding Donald Trump’s Big Oil buddies accountable, while Trump himself is a climate denier who’s willing to enact Big Oil’s dangerous pro-polluter agenda – asking them for a billion dollars to make it happen,” said Alex Glass, Communications Director of Climate Power. “Donald Trump’s Big Oil-authored Project 2025 plan is completely out of touch with what voters want. It gives Big Oil free rein to profiteer and pollute, while Americans are forced to clean up their mess. Over the next 100 days, Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will make their case to voters – who will reject Trump’s dangerous pro-polluter agenda at the ballot box.”
Donald Trump and his Big Oil Project 2025 Agenda are extremely unpopular with voters — here are the facts:

- 62% of Americans believe Project 2025 will have a negative impact on them and their families.

- 77% find it concerning that Project 2025 proposed a plan to eliminate the National Weather Service—including 79% Non-MAGA Republicans and even 49% MAGA Republicans.
- 74% of voters support regulating carbon dioxide (the primary greenhouse gas) as a pollutant.
Running on climate change and progress is a political winner — here are the facts:
- 80% of voters recognize that climate change is happening right now.
- 7-in-10 voters support the US taking steps to slow or stop the rate of climate change.
- 71% of voters support the Biden-Harris administration’s clean energy plan.
- 74% of voters support regulating carbon dioxide (the primary greenhouse gas) as a pollutant.
