Big Oil’s Greed Means Higher Costs for Families

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to this morning’s Consumer Price Index report, Climate Power deputy executive director Claire Moser released the following statement:
“Today’s inflation numbers underscored what we already know: Big Oil CEOs are in it for themselves. Their greed and profit-hungry business model raised prices for families to pad their own pockets. Energy production is soaring right now, but oil and gas executives are raising prices to reward their wealthy stakeholders at our expense.”
