PHOENIX – A number of federal funds supporting clean energy rebates and key investments in clean energy projects in Arizona are being illegally withheld by the Trump Administration. Democrats on the House Appropriations Committee and the Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies released a summary of those funds in a series of seven fact sheets (linked below) documenting the current impact of nationwide federal funding cuts across key program areas.
“Trump’s funding cuts are not only illegal and unconstitutional; they’re killing American jobs, strangling innovation, and increasing energy costs for families in Arizona and across the nation,” said Mónica Pérez, Climate Power’s Managing Director, States.
