Nevada Re-elects Clean Energy Champion Sen. Rosen, Rejecting Sam Brown’s Big Oil Agenda

Washington, D.C. —  Senator Jacky Rosen, a climate and clean energy champion, won her reelection bid against Sam Brown, keeping a key U.S. Senate seat blue. Rosen centered clean energy jobs in her campaign and won, in the face of ads and false attacks funded by Big Oil interests. In response to the news, Lori Lodes, Executive Director of Climate Power, released the following statement:

“Nevadans re-elected Senator Jacky Rosen, a champion for climate action and clean energy jobs. Senator Rosen not only campaigned on the strength of the clean energy economy in Nevada, she has led on these issues in the U.S. Senate and worked to bring investments to Nevada that are creating good-paying jobs, and bringing down energy costs. Senator Rosen’s victory serves as a reminder that clean energy manufacturing is popular and here to stay.”
