Washington, D.C. — Climate Power is launching more than 250 digital billboards and urban panels across 10 congressional districts to hold Republican members accountable for their votes for Trump’s Republican Rate Hike, which is increasing costs on everything from groceries to health care to electricity. Household electric bills are up 10% nationally since Trump took office, and are poised to spike even further.
Climate Power communications director Alex Glass issued the following statement:
“With congressional Republicans hiding from their constituents, we’re letting them know they can’t hide from their votes. These billboards let Americans know who to thank for skyrocketing energy, grocery, and health care bills: the same members of Congress who supported Donald Trump’s Republican Rate Hike.”
The six-figure ad campaign will include:
- 266 digital billboards and urban panels urging constituents to let their Member of Congress know they can’t afford increased energy, healthcare, and grocery bills in 10 districts: CO-08, IA-01, MI-07, OH-15, PA-10, WI-03, CA-22, CA-40, NY-17, and NV-02
