NEW: Gas Prices Hit Lowest Point Since February Ahead of Holiday

Bidenomics is working, bringing costs down for families

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Thanks to Bidenomics, families driving for the holidays will notice a marked decrease in prices at the pump as the average cost per gallon dips below $3 in 12 states. More than 50,000 gas stations nationwide are charging $2.99 or less for a gallon of gas. What’s more, gas prices are expected to continue to drop, which could save families $1.2 billion dollars on holiday travel compared to last year. Climate Power senior advisor for oil and gas Alex Witt released the following statement in response:

“As families head out for the holidays, they can thank President Biden for low prices at the pump. Not only is Bidenomics bringing costs down, but it’s also creating good-paying jobs across the nation that are putting dinner on the table for thousands of families in both red and blue districts. Bidenomics is building the middle class from the middle out – not the top down. This year, families will feel the difference.”
