President Biden Takes Action to Protect Federal Waters, Keeping Air and Water Clean

Washington, D.C. — Today, President Biden announced additional executive actions to protect more than 625 million acres of federal waters. In response to the administration’s announcement, Climate Power executive director Lori Lodes issued the following statement:

“The Biden administration’s decision to protect our oceans will preserve the health and safety of coastal communities. While Americans strongly support protections for our air and water and keeping our public lands pristine, Donald Trump has a record of putting the profits of oil and gas executives ahead of our public health. President Biden has delivered on his promises to protect our public land and water for future generations; Donald Trump should do the same.”
