PRESIDENT BIDEN TO KICKOFF REELECTION CAMPAIGN IN PENNSYLVANIA, HIGHLIGHTING JOB-CREATING AGENDA

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Tomorrow, President Biden will host the first rally of his reelection campaign with union members in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a key battleground state. President Biden will highlight how his economic agenda is bringing back manufacturing jobs from overseas—providing opportunities to Americans like never before.

President Biden’s clean energy plan is turbocharging our Made in America clean energy economy, creating good-paying clean energy jobs that don’t require four-year degrees, justly transitioning our clean energy economy, and lowering costs for Pennsylvanians. Last year, the Department of Energy announced that Pennsylvania would be receiving $259,206,740 in home energy rebate funding to lower energy costs and make homes more energy efficient.

President Biden’s clean energy plan is popular with Pennsylvania voters. According to new polling conducted by HIT Strategies and Climate Power, support for President Biden’s clean energy agenda jumped by nearly 20 points when they received information about his clean energy agenda. Voters that are motivated by climate and clean energy will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the 2024 presidential cycle.
