President Biden to Tout Bidenomics Benefits for Rural Communities During Visit to Minnesota Family Farm

Northfield, MN – Today, President Biden will visit a family farm in Minnesota to highlight the administration’s investments in rural America. The event kicks off a two-week “Investing in Rural America Event Series” that will feature President Biden and top officials, speaking to how Bidenomics and the Investing in America agenda are benefiting local farmers and communities.

According to a new report from Climate Power, private companies have made over $35 billion clean energy investments in rural communities across the U.S. in just over a year. The clean energy boom, sparked by President Biden’s Clean Energy Plan, has brought more than 33,000 jobs to rural America – including in Minnesota. Despite GOP criticism of the administration’s clean energy funding, those dollars have benefitted Republican districts. Representative Tom Emmer’s district saw nearly 1,000 new jobs as a result of President Biden’s clean energy plan.
