A top Exxon executive warned that oil prices could spike as global inventories hit dangerously low levels

Secretary Bessent assured reporters that gas prices are already “down substantially”

Washington, DC — The Trump administration is continuing to bury their heads in the sand, even as oil executives ring alarm bells about the dangerously low levels of global oil inventories. As Trump’s polling plummets to record lows and inflation skyrockets, his cronies are desperately trying to spin his disastrous war of choice in Iran by claiming that soaring gas prices are “short-term challenges”.

Trump and his henchmen may not care about Americans who are struggling with pain at the pump, but now, even their Big Oil buddies are giving them a reality check. According to the Exxon executive, even if the Strait of Hormuz opened today, it will take over a month for supply chains to recover.
