SHOT/CHASER: Zeldin Supports “whatever President Trump is advocating for”

Washington, D.C. — Today, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin told Fox News that he is for “whatever President Trump is advocating for” when asked if he supports any forms of clean energy. But when he was running for office in New York, Zeldin was all in on the benefits of cheaper, cleaner energy – calling offshore wind a “great idea” and bragging about his support for solar during a 2016 debate

The Trump administration knows clean energy lowers costs and creates jobs – and they’re gutting it anyway.

SHOT: Zeldin tried to brand himself as ‘pro-climate’ when it was politically expedient to do so.

CHASER: As EPA administrator, Zeldin is putting his allegiance to Donald Trump ahead of the American people. Trump and Zeldin have ended tax incentives for clean energy and shuttered clean energy projects, causing utility bills to skyrocket and killing American jobs.
