The oil and gas industry is one of the largest and most profitable industries in the United States. They achieve their often record-smashing profits by putting the bottom lines of themselves and their shareholders over the health and safety of their consumers, trashing the environment, polluting our air and water, and spilling millions of gallons of oil, sometimes in one spill.

Inflation Reduction Act Repeal Votes Tracker

A new analysis from Climate Power, the League of Conservation Voters, and Climate Action Campaign finds that in the year since Democrats and President Biden passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Republicans have voted 25 times to repeal the landmark climate and clean energy plan and other provisions of the law. There have been 11 votes on the House floor and 14 votes in committees and subcommittees.
