The Republican Rate Hike has taken a “sledgehammer” to Arizona’s clean energy production, saddling Arizonans with higher energy costs, a weaker electric grid, and job losses. Since Trump’s election, his attacks on clean energy have led to the cancellation or delay of 7,925 jobs and $1.85 billion of investment in Arizona.  And every single Arizona Republican in Congress voted for Trump’s bill to create a self-inflicted energy crisis, sending utility costs through the roof, and closing down factories, all to give a massive tax break to billionaires and oil and gas executives.
