We have power as Climate Voters. This Earth Month, take action for our future by committing to be a climate voter.

It’s Earth Month, and President Biden is getting it done—he has already taken big steps toward more climate progress in the last few weeks. That means we’ve got a whole lot of celebrating to do. Here’s what the  Biden-Harris administration has been up to: 

• Cleaner air: EPA’s new standards will slash harmful emissions from chemical plants and reduce cancer risks in nearby communities.
• Safer water: The first-ever national drinking water standards to protect Americans from exposure to PFAS (commonly known as “forever chemicals”) will prevent tens of thousands of serious illnesses and save lives.
• Clean energy: The Department of Interior is now permitting more than 25 gigawatts of clean energy projects on public lands  — surpassing its 2025 goal and powering more than 12 million homes.
• Big Oil accountability: For the first-time ever, the Biden-Harris administration is requiring Big Oil pay more to drill on federal lands and satisfy stronger requirements to clean up old or abandoned wells.

Each April is a time when the climate community sets big goals and celebrates big wins — and when folks who usually aren’t tapped into the climate conversation take notice.

And we have a lot to celebrate: Millions of Americans made their voices heard. President Biden listened and passed his historic clean energy plan.

We’re tackling the climate crisis. We’re cleaning up our air and water. And American workers are building our clean energy future in communities across the country.

But Donald Trump and MAGA extremists are ready to kill climate action and our clean energy future. We need climate voters everywhere to show up to the polls in 2024. It’s up to us to vote for our future.
