Energy Secretary Granholm to Visit Pennsylvania to Spotlight Bidenomics Clean Energy Wins

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Today, Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, will visit Pennsylvania to speak about how Bidenomics is spurring the clean energy transition, creating good-paying jobs, and strengthening U.S. energy security.

This is Granholm’s second visit to the Keystone State in just a week, as she joined President Biden last Friday in Philadelphia, where he spoke with union workers and elected officials about plans for two regional hydrogen power hubs. Combined, the projects could receive more than $1.6 billion in federal funding.

Pennsylvania, a critical battleground state in the 2024 presidential race, has received over $1.5 billion in private investments thanks to federal tax credits and incentives in the President’s clean energy plan.
